Civil marriage conducted in Seychelles is legal and wedding certificate issued in Seychelles is valid all over the world. Also, we are visa-free country! You can enter Seychelles with valid passport and booking confirmation for your accommodation, or wedding.
You are welcome to arrive in the morning, get married by afternoon and leave at night. No restrictions on duration of stay.
Before the wedding:
To officially book your civil wedding, simply email us copies of the following documents to wedding(at)wed-in-seychelles.com:
– Passport copies, page with photo and data only
– Birth certificates
– Final divorce decree page in case you have been married before
– Your wedding date
Please note, all documents should be in English, or French language, multilingual, or translated at official translator’s office. No need for further notarization. Our experienced and friendly staff will send you 2 forms to fill in and return by email, then book your wedding and guide you further.
After the wedding:
Our warmest congratulations!! We will immediately proceed with obtaining all necessary verifications and registrations. It usually takes us 3-4 working days (Monday to Friday in Seychelles) to obtain all required attestations.
In case you are leaving Seychelles earlier, DHL fees are already included in all our express wedding packages, so no worries. They will be delivered to your address, one day after we post them.
Attested documents package include:
– Original marriage certificate issued and stamped by Civil Status office, apostil by Seychelles Supreme Court and attestation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
– One verified copy of the original, issued by Civil Status office, apostil by Seychelles Supreme Court, attestation by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, plus UAE Embassy registration (for UAE residents and citizens)**
– Some countries, like Qatar, require further registration of the marriage in closest Embassy to Seychelles. We will take care of all formalities; the office will inform you about details.
